If Mousesavers is correct, it would be cheaper to purchase the AP passes instead of 3-day hoppers in order to get the AP discount on DL Hotel.

Is this correct? Can you do this?

I'd check on seeing that they had rooms availble for the AP rate at the hotel you want to stay in first. I'm an AP holder and I live about 40 minutes away. But I know that AP rooms go pretty fast and some dates aren't even available. As far as the price, $179 for the AP or $129 for the hoppers. So I guess it really comes down to if they have the room rate availble for when you want to travel.

In order to buy the Southern California APs, you have to have a driver's license with the zipcode in the southern California area. But those have blackout dates.

All APs qualify for room discounts when availble.

And don't forget to check on the blackout dates to make sure that your visit doesn't fall into them. It would make no sense at all to purchase a cheap AP for the discount and then have to purchase individual tickets or park hoppers as well to get into the parks.

Hey Noelle....how did u like staying at the Port Orleans Riverside? Myself and other cast members from DL will be staying there this summer...im anxious to know what it's like!

I like it alot. It's very nice as far as price and location are concerned. Rooms are nothing like anything at DLR hotel. We always stay in the plantation side. Just our taste. I'm sure you'll love it. The pool is great and I love the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Enjoy yourselves!
