Since there's been a couple questions about the AP's in the last couple days, I thought I'd just share what I found out last week.

We are getting AP's for the first time this year and I wanted to see if I could get that "out of the way" before getting to the park for EMH as that would save me time that morning.

If you're driving, you can stop and get activated passes as the Ocala Disney Place. I called them and they are open from 9-6. Since we always drive, I don't know about the airport, but other people have said you can get them there also.

We don't think we'll make that, so I called Disney about getting them the night we get in. (We stay "off site" the night before, and then check in first thing in the morning)

The long and short of all the conversations is that they can be gotten at all parks at Guest Services, the Ticket and Transportation Center, and the most convenient (I think) Downtown Disney. There is a guest services at both ends. One is next to the big Disney Store and the other is somewhere down around DisneyQuest area.

The guest services there are open later than the ones in the parks. The person at the guest services next to the big Disney Store said they are open until 10:30 on Monday thru Thursday and 11:30 on Fri. through Sunday (I'm not exactly sure about the late time on Sunday)

I talked to about 5 people before finally getting all the information I needed and they all agreed that there's really no advantage to getting advance vouchers. You still need to be fingerprinted and the activated card done and both will take about 10 minutes.

Just thought this information might help someone.

Just to clarify, you need to get your fingers biometrically scanned (not fingerprinted).

Your initial biometric scan is taken the first time you enter the turnstiles. It is not taken when you buy or activate the AP.
