AP holders, do you need tickets to the DCA AP preview on June 11th?

Can you add me to the list? 2 for the evening. Thanks!:goodvibes

3 tickets, anytime would be appreciated. We've already made travel arrangements and are ready to go!

I could switch from 2 tickets afternoon/evening to 2 tickets anytime! :goodvibes

I just wanted to say thank you for this thread and many others,
skiing fast and hydroguy, thank you, thank you, thank you! :thumbsup2

And good luck to all!!! :goodvibes

No problem. Disney Parks are lots of fun that we can all enjoy together.

Happy to see you found another friend who can go DLR29.

More like I got home from college and I told my mom about this, and she was like, "You better invite me if you win!" :lmao::lmao:

Need 2 passes for anytime.

I registered for the contest for 6 spots, so if I win, I'll have 4 spots to share with other DIS'ers :thumbsup2

Can I please switch mine from 2 to 3? I have a friend who can go now...I'll have 3 spots to share though.

I have a question for those of you who've been fortunate enough to do this type of preview before.....it is likely that the preview ticket will be good for the entire day at the California Adventure park or only for the 4 hours included in the contest? Our APs are still valid now but will expire before June 11. If we're lucky, we'll be traveling from Kansas for a quick three day trip to take part in the preview and I need to do some budget planning. Thanks!

From the rules it seems as though they will be issuing a ticket for one day at DCA only (i.e. not a parkhopper) for those who are blocked. I am guessing that they would do the same for someone whose APs have lapsed. Here is what the rules say:

If you are selected to attend the sneak preview on a blockout date for your Annual Passport type, you will receive a 1-day Disney California Adventure Park blockout day ticket for the date of the preview.
June 11, 2012 is a blockout date for Southern California Select Annual Passports. If you or your Guests' Annual Passports are blocked on June 11, 2012, present the email ticket that confirms you are a winner and your — and/or your Guests' — Annual Passport(s) at any Main Entrance Ticket Booth to receive a 1-Day Ticket to Disney California Adventure Park at no charge. Any of your Guests requiring a complimentary ticket must be present with you at the Ticket Booth to receive their ticket.

And it does say that you are eligible as long as your AP was valid up to May 1, 2012:

Winners and/or Guests with Passports that have expired after May 1, 2012, may still attend the preview. Please present the email ticket that confirms you are a winner, along with a valid form of identification at the parking toll booths and at the Box Office to receive event entitlements.

Thanks, ArchOwl. I hope you're right! I read the rules and saw what they were doing for AP holders who are blocked but I wasn't sure about those whose APs had lapsed between May 1 and June 11. I'm sure the email that goes out to all the winners will be more specific. Good luck to you and all the other DISers!

Yes, I can't imagine how they would really "kick you out" once you were in the park. Several of the other contests that they have done in the past came with at least a one day, one park ticket. It would be unusual for them not to do it this time.

Good luck and I hope you get in! :thumbsup2

Can you please add me for 1 anytime? Thanks!!

2 quick questions to throw out there for anyone, if you get picked are you stuck w/ the # you originally entered or can you change it to add more? Also, does anyone remember what the times were? I remember they were in blocks starting at 8, but can't remember what they were.

If none of us win, we will need 4....if we do win, we will probably have 2 spares.

you can not add more because they are going to notify the exact number of people they are letting into this event. the times are 8-12 1-5 and 6-10
