I was wondering if being an AP holder allows you access to early entry?

Nope, no early mornings for AP holders.

That is one of the very few downsides of being an AP holder - no Magic Mornings. The only way that a person who has an AP can get a Magic Morning is by staying at one of the three on-site Disney hotels.
