AP Help

I have today received the paper application form for the Annual Passes. We want annual passes so we can book room only for a stay in August before we do Castle Club for 3 nights. The application form has a place to stick photos for ID purposes, so I assumed that we would get the real AP through the post. I have read elsewhere however that only a temporary pass will be sent to exchange at the AP office in the Park. Does anyone know? ALSO, is it possible to make a reservation with a temporary pass as you can for WDW or must I have the actual AP in hand. Someone out there must be able to help me! Thanks very much!

I was under the impression that you would only be sent a temporary pass in the post but I'm not sure so I'll bump this in the hope that someone more knowledgeable will come along.

Thanks for bumping. Since I posted my original message I spoke with a very nice CM at DLP and she said that the temporary pass which would be sent to me could not be used to make a reservation. The only way I could make a reservation for AP discount was to have an actual AP in my hand. I find this quite ludicrous! As long as I proved I had an active AP at check-in, what is the problem? So now, instead of spending 6 nights at Sequoia Lodge then 3 nights Castle Club at Disneyland Hotel, we will be spening 6 nights off site then 3 nights at the Castle Club. I hope whoever made this bureaucratic decision relaises how many hundreds of Euros their Company is not getting!
