AP/FP+ Both On and Off-Site

I've read multiple threads and many links, but I can't find a definitive answer to this.

I'll be buying APs for the family before our summer trip. We will be staying in an off-site timeshare for a week and then a week on property. With our AP vouchers I believe we can hold 7 days of FP+ reservations as long as our vouchers are linked to my MDE account.

I am assuming that we will also be able to make FP+ reservations for all days that we are on-site.

Is this correct?

Yes. Your 60-day window opens completely so your offsite park days are included within that open window.

On other threads and forums, it's been reported that the two stays are independent of each other. Length of stay FP booking for your onsite stay and 7 days of offsite booking. If you find the system doesn't allow you to book all 14 days, you should call Disney.
