AP expiration

We are going to WDW May18-24. Our AP's expire on the 22nd. Can we re-new while we are there? I received a renewal in the mail this week and I didn't know if I could just wait and renew it there, before the expiration. Also, I have a stupid question. With the AP expiring on the 22nd, does that mean that I can use the old one on the 22nd or will the last day of using it be on the 21st?

Yes, you can renew your AP while you are at WDW. Check the date on the back of your current AP to see on which date it expires. That is the last day of your current use year. Have fun!
