Wow....Let me just say I had a AWESOME time. Got to the park early, about 7:30ish. Managed to get my first ever showing of Shrek 4D. Enjoyed it. Then walked around the park. It was about empty at this point, just around 8pm. Headed over to the Mummy holding area, making sure to drop my bag in the free locker(for 2hrs). We got in line. The line was wrapped to the stairs in the corner, next to the Mummy building. They had the Mummy guys on stilts and people walking the line. I asked if they would open early, and they said probably. They did. At 8:40, they let us in. Was basically a walk on....Longest Queue EVER!!! Takes longer to walk the queue than to ride the ride. Had a great run in the front seat. I rode once during technical rehersal, and I hated it then. Now that everything is up to par...It was great. We immeadiatly walked off the ride and walked right on again. Took the back row this time....AIR TIME CITY!! We then rode Twister, and Jimmy Neutron, and headed out of the park as I had to be in work the next day so didnt want to be out to late. All in all a good time by all.....
Anyone else go? Mummy thoughts?
My random thougthts on this...:
-The scarab effect works best from the middle 2 rows.
-The air time in the back is MUCH better
-Dont put your hands up to ride this ride....I banged my arms more than once on the train front.
-The employees running and working around this last night were on there game. They were a BLAST. Thanks Guys for making it great
