I went to the AP preview for Soarin on Friday 4/11. Soarin is a great attraction. It was nice to see the inside of the Land building again. The food court eating area was completely remodeled and they were just adding tables to the area.
They were in the process of training new CM's to run the Living with the Land boat ride (ride was not open). All the former CM's had been relocated at the beginning of the remodeling.
To get into the preview you had to show your AP of course. And then we were allowed to go behind the wooden barricades that are still up. But I thought it odd that they didn't have a sign telling other guests that the preview was for passholders (and DVC) only. Regular guests were lining up to go in and had to be turned away. The CM's spent a lot of time explaining the situation. Seems like it would have saved time to just put up a sign.

I agree. It would have saved time to put a sign up explaining the situation. I was over on Friday and saw two CM's by the entrance..one checking the passes and the other was answering questions. I still would have liked seeing a sign or something. :sad2:

We rode it today and I agree, it is a great attraction and the renovations look great. I felt bad for those CM's who had to turn people away.
