Hi, we are DVC members so the whole DDP is new to me.

Normally we go once a year and just buy MYW tix. This year, we are thinking about going twice. Since we get a discount on AP through DVC, I was going to purchase them for this year. Then I started reading that the free DDP was going to be offered again. So it started me thinking.....

If I book a room at a non-dvc resort, most likely an all star resort, and pay OOP, can I get the free DDP or do you also have to purchase park tickets to get the free DDP?

Not sure if I would be ahead of the game by paying for the value resort room and getting the free DDP or if I should just book my DVC room, use my AP and pay for dining.

We are waiting to close on our DVC and I also don't get the entire thing but why don't you post on DVC and see if they can help. They are wonderful there and know so much!

If you want free dining, you must purchase a package through CRO. You cannot stay on points. You can use your AP, but you still will have to purchase at least a one day ticket for every member of your party.
