AP discounts over Thanksgiving?

Are there ever AP discounts for Thanksgiving and the days immediately following? I am planning on going the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving and am just wondering if this ever happens. I am planning on paying rack rates but a discount would be nice!

I just got an AP rate that was for Dec. 1-4- that's the week following Thanksgiving. It was an Ap code that had to include a package to get the rate though. So, I got the DDP as part of my "package" and got the room discount rate attached. Hope that helps some. CALL....... that's how I found out about it. I asked if there was an AP rate available for the time of my visit and that's what they gave me. GOOD LCUK!

Hi Karebear1 - Do you know the code or the rate on your AP discount? I just went through two different reps at Disney and they couldn't find it.

Sorry- don't know the code, but the rate for a courtyard view room, with the DDP at the WL for Dec. 1-4 was $1249.88. that was with the applied AP discount rate. Again- the DDP had to be added to get the rate- and is included in the price I just posted. A room ony AP rate for WL was not available. I just put the same info on the WDW website and came up with a rate of almost $2000.00 in comparison. Hope that helps!

Bummer for us... the current AP code added more to our price than the price of the dining. I'll have to just keep waiting!

what was your rate without the dining?? Was it for the same days and room type at WL??

Thanks for the info! I have a pin code starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving but we are coming in a few days early. I will keep my fingers crossed for a good deal!

There were AP rates that covered Thanksgiving week last year (not sure of the start date) but we came in the day after for 10 nights and each night was discounted. I believe it was August when they came out. Good luck!

My dates are over the holiday - 11/25 - 11/28 in a woods view room. My rate is 1198.11 ($355/ night) with no code or discount. The rep told me that the AP dining code for our dates did not have a discount attached, but just added the dining plan, so we were at almost 1400 with quick service dining.

I really do hope for a code, but will pay rack rate if I need to. This is our last chance to stay at WL before we count as five!
