AP Discounts in December?

Historically, are ther AP discounts offered the beginning of December? We plan on going 12/5-12/14 and naturally were quoted rack rate for now.

There certainly were last year. But then this time last year AP rates were out for the Summer and there are a lot of people who are still waiting for AP rates past 4/9 so who knows this year.

Prior to 2001, AP discounts were not offered in December. Disney filled the rooms by offering holiday packages.

Since then, AP discounts have been offered in December (and also in other times that historically had not seen AP discounts).

I agree with Fantasia Sam - no way to know what Disney will do this year. However, I am certain that they will not offer discounts of any kind if the rooms are filling without them.
