AP discounts at HRH/PB

Does anyone one know how much, if any, of a discount you can get at the resorts with an annual pass? I'm trying to decide what type of passes are best for our next trip, and whether or not the AP discounts are worth the extra cost. Any advice will be appreciated.

If you call the Hotel directly they will tell you the AP rate if you ask. I visited in April and plan a return in late Oct/early Nov and called for AP rates at HRH. I believe they are about 145 last week of Oct and 129.50 1st week of Nov. I was informed that there are limited number of rooms available at these rates so I should book early when I decide. I think the real savings for AP holders is the cost of tickets, depending on how many days and how often you visit.

The way I figure it, an AP pays off on the 4th visit thru the gates.
Recent hotel discounts we received with AP rate:
$213 Club Level HRH 3/31. Normal rate was $345 I think.
$182 Garden View PBH 5/18. Normal rate $260.
It's not the entertainment rate, but you don't have to book 9 years in advance either.(sarcasm)

You also get 10% off food in parks (excluding: carts & booze) and some Citywalk places. 15% off after 3 PM, in the parks.
20% off merchandise in the parks.
Free self-parking.
As of yesterdays' e-mail confirmation from guest services....Early Entry on the days on-site guests do too.
And we get a monthly newsletter twice a year!!

I didn't know what my AP gave me. It really is quite a deal if you plan to use it.

We saved about $60 using the food and merchandise discounts alone. And we really don't buy alot of things. Some Citywalk restaurants and retailers also give 10% off.

AP hotel discounts run 25%-40% off rack rates depending on the season.
