Has anyone booked a room with AP discount, and then it expired before your trip? I am going there and will get my new ap pass when I get to Disney, but won't have it at check in. Just wondering if anyone else has done this? I didn't know if they would require me to go to the park to buy it first or they would let me bring it back to show them after I purchase it. Thanks for any info.

I think to be on the safe side you might want to renew or buy a new pass before checking in. I've read reports that some people are asked to show the AP at check-in and others aren't.

Are you flying in? If so a convenient place to buy a new AP is at the Disney Store in the airport. We got off our plane, purchased our AP's and our luggage was just coming out when we got to baggage, very convenient.

Just out of curiosity,

Does the WDW computer system instantly show the desk clerk that I have used an AP that day (and therefore must possess one) and then he doesn't have to ask?

On my last trip I was not asked to show my AP at check in. But I had used it the day before.
