Hi. I bought a pass of ebay which entitles me to free parking when at disney it does not run out until April 2010.
I am wondering if I have bought an annual pass or will it just be a parking pass.
I have bought MYW passes for when I am there and the parking pass just looks like one of them and is unsigned.
Could I use this pass for discount at disney.
Thanks.

APs are now printed on normal cardstock like the paper tickets, they're not hard plastic anymore. they do entitle you to free parking, so it it possible that you've got an AP. what does it say on the back of the ticket? how much did you pay for it?
if it is an AP, there are certain discounts available (ie: 10% off at world of disney store), but they are fully entitled to ask you for ID when getting the discount. they didnt the last time we were there but just wanted to make you aware that they can.

Disney don't do parking passes so I am not sure what you have bought. What is printed on the back?

I hate to say it but you may have been scamed into to buying something worthless as I can't see someone selling an unexpired AP.

On the back of the pass it says - ANNUAL PREMIUM and underneath that it says - EXPIRES 04/30/10
It also says - AGES(10+)
It also has a name printed on andunderneath that it says - WMK-012 04/30/09
It also has the black strip at the top with a lot of writing underneath and under that a place to sign your name just like my MYW ticket I have already bought.
I have just looked on ebay and it was described as a deactivated AP.

its definately an AP, but i wonder what they mean by deactivated? it might just be that they're not going back before it expires and wanted to sell it on for some money. you should be ok to use it for parking, as half the time we went through the parking gates, we just flashed it at them, they didnt check it. you will not be able to use it for park entry, as it will have been ticket tagged by the biometric machines.
they do say that APs are non transferrable, so if they do find out its not yours, they are well within their rights to confiscate it.
hope you didnt pay too much for it, if it works for you, great, but if it doesnt hopefully you're not out of too much money.
