AP discount with mobile food order?

I have an AP and was looking forward to using the 10% discount off most food purchases. Does this work with mobile order? Does it automatically apply it? Or do we need to do in person ordering to get the discount?

When you do the mobile order, on the checkout screen there is a box to apply discounts, it let's you scan your AP. I'm not sure if you have to scan it everytime, I'm a seasonal so don't have any dining discounts.

So is this new? Last summer there was no way to use the discount on the app.

By our August 2020 trip, AP Discounts for mobile orders worked.
At least in August you had to enter it every time. It was a bit of a bother since it wanted to take a photo and the lighting was often too light or dark.

Yes, you have to scan it every time, but it worked everywhere we did mobile ordering.
