AP discount questions/magazine

Hi all. I am new to the AP holder thing, and I'm wondering about the discounts. I've already decided to can the basic dining plan for my short October trip and buy the DDE with my passholder, but where will I find the restaurants that take the discount, as well as information on current other discounts offered? Also, when I purchased, the CM said there's a magazine for AP holders, yet I haven't received anything (I bought the pass in mid April)

I think the magazine is only quarterly - it's called the Mickey Monitor. However, you can view old versions of it on the Disney website. Log in as a passholder (you'll need to create a login name and password if you don't already have one), but then click to the "Passholder" section of the website. You'll have to enter a number from the back of your AP, and then you'll be able to see passholder-specific news and updates, as well as to find the past issues of the Mickey Monitor.

As far as the DDE discounts, best place is Deb's AllEars site for a complete listing of discounts. When you actually purchase and pick-up your DDE Card, they'll give you a print out of the restaurants where the discounts are applicable, but that'll be too late for ADRs!

Can you create a username and password if you have just the AP vouchers or do you have to wait until you get the actual APs at WDW?
