Just a heads up that they starting offering the AP discount over the normal Easter blackout dates. Not sure if it's a mistake or not, but pricing a "room only" (package is not discounted) starting 3/28 through 4/10 is now discounted (priced the days when the promotion first came out, and they were not discounted)

example:
POR rack: Sun, Mar 28 - Sat, Apr 10 $ 215.00
POR AP: Sun, Mar 28 - Fri, Apr 10 $ 129.00

Checked the general promotion, and that one does not discount these days.

Also checked a couple other resorts and they are discounted as well, hope this helps someone!! :yay:

Did you get that on the Disney web-site, or over the phone?

Shoot, I still cannot get anything to come up for my trip.:sad2:

Looks like they're doing something to the site, I'm getting odd results now, it still gave me discounted rates through Easter if I start on the 27th or earlier the first attempt, but now I'm getting this (Pop Century):

Sat, Mar 27 $ 140.00
Sun, Mar 28 - Thu, Apr 01 $ 145.00
Fri, Apr 02 - Sat, Apr 03 $ .00
Sun, Apr 04 - Thu, Apr 08 $ 145.00
Fri, Apr 09 $ .00

3 free nights and the rest rack.. not sure what's going on with the site!

EDIT: Hit the search button again, and it went back to the expected rate:
Sat, Mar 27 $ 84.00
Sun, Mar 28 - Fri, Apr 09 $ 87.00

Through the passholder website

I called twice and they didn't have these prices come up but the passholder site did.

I was able to book CSR for 4/2-4/8 for $132 a night. I wanted POR but it wasn;t available. There are others available,

Carrib $147 for pirate room only
All Star $87
Contemp $250.25
Cabin $228

These are just a few.

on hold calling now.... but they are coming up on the site for me. Only problem, is online isn't letting me add dining.

Yep its on the AP site! Contemporary wings are $250!

Mr. Bean -- thank you so much for posting this info -- I was waiting for this day.;)

I was able to pull it up too! The AP will save me almost $300!

Unfortunately I had the same issue with the dining plan, and the CM was not able to help me. With the money we save though, the tables in wonderland card should work out perfectly :)

Your welcome!

I just happen to double check our dates today, and was so excited with the results that I just had to post it here!! :goodvibes

Hi! I am not a AP member, but thinking about it. I have a few questions. If I become an AP member can I book a room for me plus others (3 adults, and 1 child) if I am the only one who is an AP member?

Thank you - thank you for posting this!!

We got CSR starting on Easter Sunday, for 6 nights (4/4-4/10) for $992 total, room only. That is only $20 more a night than our offsite hotel, plus now we do not need a car rental (at $250)

I am so excited!:cool1:

Now to decide dining plan or TIW card?? We have taken advantage of DP (during free dining) for the past 3 trips and it has been great!

BTW- CSR during Easter last year was $120 a night, this year it's $147 a night...

Just booked an AP membership and called up Disney. They said that those dates were still blocked out. Did you have a code/pin? Did you use the website directly? The CM couldn't find this with those dates not blacked out :confused3.

I used the AP website as well and booked....

Poly GV CL for Spring Break! :dance3::banana::dance3::banana::dance3:

I love the DIS and Diser's!!!!! :worship::worship::worship::worship:

Just want to thank MrBean. This is wonderful info.

I was wondering if anyone was able to book over the phone yet, or is it just online?

Yes thank you! I spoke to one CM over the phone because I just ordered my AP today after reading this and couldn't try online. He told me those dates were still blacked out. Called a second time and the CM was able to book it for me! We were able to bump up from the POR to the POLY for a bit more. :rotfl: We had to go during these days due to my sister's university spring break and I had really wanted to stay at the POLY. This wasn't going to happen without some sort of discount. THANKS!

Thanks so much for posting this! Doing a split stay, and part of our trip fell within those blackout dates.
Was able to change my room only 1 night at Movies from $180 to $117, so saved $63.

My 1 night at CBR - was $381 with deluxe dining and rack rate - now up'd to a preferred room for $170 and will be paying approx $144 for OOP dining... so comes to $314 - better than $381, and that's after accounting for using the TiW card for the dining. May be less, as may be dropping one of our character breakfasts. But am happy to be in a preferred room now at least. Savings isn't huge, but every little bit sure helps!

Wished it was coming up with being able to add on that dining.
Savings weren't huge for me when I figured in the dining OOP - but didn't expect much - would be more substantial savings if those nights were at a deluxe resort - but saving the deluxes for the next trip - which, really need a pin code for JULY!

Tried putting my dates in again today to see if I could get dining to work.. no luck, but the total came out to $481,129.58 for 12 nights :scared1: :scared1:

Had to screenshot it to show my DW later :thumbsup2
