AP discount on Villas?

In the past were annual pass room discounts also given to one bedroom villas?

I've noticed availability for one bedroom villas at animal kingdom resort for the time we're travelling but rack rate is a bit to steep.

Yes. What time frame are you looking at for your trip. The discount has been up to 35% in the past for some periods.

Here is the general discount disclaimer:

Offer excludes Polynesian Bungalows, Bay Lake Tower, Villas at Grand Floridian, Riviera Resort, cabins at Copper Creek Villas at Wilderness Lodge, 3-bedroom villas and campsites. As with all Disney promotional discounts, some resorts, room types and date combinations will not be available.

Hi and thanks for your response, that's good to know I thought maybe DVC type rooms might be excluded.
We are going the first week of September. Right now I have us booked for a split stay, with a few days a Pop century (2 rooms) and 4 days at the fort wilderness cabins (together). My husband and I are planning a 'just us' trip for next January so even if no discounts happen this fall we'll hopefully get a good one for then. If a discount happened this fall though ... I would to stay at Animal Kingdom.
