AP discount on MNSSHP tickets

Can anyone explain how the discount works for AP holders on the MNSSHP tickets? I don't understand what the description means where it says 25% discount on "Day Of" admission price. Does this mean you have to wait until you are there and hope there are still tickets available for the night you want to go? Can you order the discounted tickets in advance? Thank you!

differing thoughts of how this may work. Some people think you will have to buy the tickets the day of the party, others believe you can buy them in advance, but the discount comes off the "day of" price, not the "advance purchase price". The tickets should be available to purchase around May, so we should be able to get our official answers at that time.

This is a new discount so no one knows the answer yet. Wait and see when they go on sale is all we can do.

I saw somewhere (another dis board-don't rmember which one) the dates for the MNSSHP and it gave the phone number to call and order tickets, which made me assume that they can be ordered now, though I haven't called yet...it didn't specify WHEN to begin calling.
Another question...with an AP, does that take care of parking also????

They are not on sale yet.

AP gives you free parking for regular park hours, not for any special events.

The Mickey Monitor said to check the passholder website after June 5th. So I guess we'll know more then.

We have never paid to park. (Have FL PAPs). Maybe that is the difference?
(Prior to being FL residents we used WDW transportation.)
