Just wanted to give a heads up to others who are trying to get an AP discount. I spoke to a CM who informed me that some of the resorts DO require a specific number of nights to get an AP discount. (this conversation took place after trying to get WL for 3 nights and no discount came up; however, if i changes the reservation to 6 nights I would get a discount).

Has anyone heard of this before?

Only for weekends, but I have seen what is happening to you happen before. Maybe it has to do with that weekend rack rate and they want to keep a few discounted nights linked with it. Could the CM be specific? It doesn't sound like they were.

Must be different times and different resorts because I put in for a one night stay (11/7) and got lots of options to choose from.

We actually have 2 rooms at CBR booked from Nov 28 - Dec 4 with bounceback. The 27th was not included in the date range but we really wanted it. I checked 1 night at a few resorts when the GP codes came out the other day and yes, it let me put 1 night even though it was a sat! We wanted to keep the bounceback rate for the rest since it's 35% off. Well, now AP rates came out and they are the same discount I tried for the 1 night and Yes, 1 night for that day was ok to book as well! Weird. Most likely we will change the 2 rooms tonight for a week starting the 27th if still out there but you just never know what will happen. Also, some resorts are not giving the AP discount for weekends - some are!
