AP discount last August

Does anyone know if there was an AP discount last August and about how much it was.

We are going 8/14-23 and are considering getting AP's

What was offered last year and what will be offered this year could be two completely different things. I wouldn't purchase an ap just for discounts until the actual discount is announced, and keep in mind Disney may decide not to offer one at all. If you are planning on going back within the year then the annual pass makes sense. Last summer for, certain dates, only the Beach Club, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs were offered with a discount.

We are waiting to see if any good discounts come out, if any at all, before we buy. We will not be visiting again for a number of years so buying it just for park admission is just not worth it.

Since we found out about AP rates, I don't think we have ever gone without one and we almost always stay at least part of the time at the Poly.

I, too, am waiting for the AP rates at the Poly in August and feel very confident something will come out. May not be huge - may not apply to many rooms, but think it will come.

We already have an AP and it almost always pays for itself with just one visit.

Keep hope alive - and I bet one will come out for August!

AP discounts during value season this year have been $80 off the deluxe resort. If they do offer them in Aug I think it will be that discount.
