AP discount for DVC members

How much is the discount for a AP for DVC members. We usually only go once a year so I'm not sure we need AP. Just trying to compare prices.

Thanks, decided to go with 10 day park hopper with no expiration. That will be great for 2 trips.

This didn't seem to make sense to me. So I looked it up and I believe that a 10 day PH with no expiration and no plus features is $479. An AP with the DVC discount is $371. So you'd be much better off with an AP.

We also go once a year but schedule our trips to be twice within 12 months so we can use one AP for both trips.

You might want to consider getting AP's instead of a park hopper. A nice thing about the AP is that it lets you buy the DDE which gets you 20% discount on food and drinks at many restaurants. The AP also has some other benefits but the DDE is one that we find very appealing.

We usually aren't able to go more than once every 12 months. We would have to buy 4 adult AP's and 1 child AP, just the adults would be $1484, which would have to be repurchased every year. My 10 day PH no expiration were only $2231.75 for 4 adults and 1 child with the link in Mousesavers newsletter. We only use 4 days a year so we will have more than enough for 2 years. We usually eat all breakfasts in our room and a few meals offsite so DDE isn't for us.
