AP discount for Contemporary Tower????

Hi!
We have booked and paid a deposit on 4 nights at The Contemporary Tower from 10 Sept for 4 nights. We booked through CRO.

Do the Tower rooms ever get AP discounts? If not, what about the other monorail resorts?

Does anyone have any idea how much an AP rate Tower room would be in September?

Also when would such rates be announced?

Should I look out for the codes myself using Mousesavers or should I get a TA like DU to get on the case for me? I hear they are great but the control freak in me would rather take charge myself!!!!

I do know that the Contemporary had a public code rate for the tower rooms for March (peak season). I think it was around $260 a night. I didn't ask about AP rates on the Tower rooms. You could change to DU if you don't get to check the boards and mousesavers consistently. You do have to fax DU something giving them permission to transfer a current ressie.

We had an AP discount for 2 days back in Oct. of 2003 in the CR tower. It was wonderful and the view of the castle was simply magnificient.

Yes there are AP discounts for CR - tower. I have gotten them before and I believe with tax we paid about $250 per night during the off season. Codes for it will probably be released in July or August, but with the way things are going, you never know when or what Disney is going to do. Codes will show up on this board and numerous other places.
