I just renewed my AP online, and it said that everything was already attached to my MDE account and I was good to go. However, how do I get the discount card, or a plastic AP ticket to use for discounts? We're headed down tomorrow - can I just go to Guest Services and get at least the plastic ticket? (I've never renewed online - always in person and received the ticket media immediately, and received the black cards with the AP MBs later)

Considering I've had APs for 4 years now, and have JUST gotten in the habit of asking for AP discounts.. I'd like to keep using them.. lol

Yes go to guest relations and they will give you one. Just remember to bring your ID and also any time you want a discount you need your ID with you also

Just a heads up, they have stopped handing out a separate discount card and it's only the single plastic AP card you use for everything.

Thanks! I never go anywhere without ID - Disney is really strict on verifying for both AP and TiW discounts. It's a good thing though :)

Good to know. Thanks!

Yes they ID checked me every time last week when I used my pass for a discount. I asked about my daughter who is a minor and they said they don't check kids

There are no new discount cards with the new passholder programs. The new yellow mickey card is your discount card/ticket/parking pass. They won't be sending any discount cards out moving forward. FYI (as others have mentioned.)

Guest services will get you a pass card to use. Can go to DS if you need a pass for parking.

Disney is really stingy with offering the pass holder discounts. Most other parks in the area, SeaWorld and Legoland especially, ask almost every time and have discounts on almost everything. At Disney, I got excited to get some free cardboard glasses that show snowflakes and had to show up on a Monday or Wednesday to get them.

I get it, they don't have to offer anything and still get tons of people buying AP's, it just would be nice if they showed some more appreciation to AP holders.
