Me and my DF are sure we've read something about APs being able to add on the dining plan.

Is this the case? Or are we confusing it with the DDE?

We're trying to decide what we want to do during our honeymoon at Disney.

As far as I am aware, there is no AP dining plan except via the DDE. There might be some confusion since the DVC members are now allowed to take advantage of the DP with their reservations, and they might also have AP's, because tickets are not a required part of their DP/vacation. I hope I did not add to the confusion.

Sorry to add to such an older post, I have read in places that if you purchase a 1 day no exp. pass you can add it for the entire length of your stay (disney dining plan that is) My husband and I just recently had a custom wedding in Disney in November and are going back in may for 8 days - 7 nights. We love to try new restaurants, etc. So we really feel we could benefit from the Dining Plan more than the Disney Dining Experience Card which we already have. Any ideas?

If you get a package with rooms and at least a one-day, one-park, ticket for each person you can also get the DDP.

Note that it is possible to use DDE in conjuncion with DDP. For example, if you make any purchases (such as alcoholic beverages) which are not covered under DDP you can use the DDE on that check.

We have APs and the only dining feature I know of is the 10% weekday discount at certain restaurants.
