AP dining discount question

Does the dining discount cover the whole party or just the one with the AP? In other words, if my daughter had an AP, would our group of 6 all get a discount on our meal if we ordered together?

If your daughter will be paying for everyone with a credit card, then the cc must have her name on it, i.e. the name on the AP must match the name on her i.d. and on her cc. The CMs are supposed to check for that. Technically, if all parties pay cash and your daughter is in charge of paying the bill and she pays with all cash, then the discount should apply to the whole group. But your daughter cannot apply her discount to the group, then ask for separate checks. Or apply her discount, then ask if more than one credit card can be used to pay. Does this make sense?

The whole party but only one payment with AP holders CC. I made all payments for our party of 12 using my ap discount. Many of the payments were also made with GC. They were all sit down restaurants.

At quick service they would ask mostly always to see an ID and when paying at stores. Some let my mom use my pass and aunt use my pass with out me paying. I had already ordered and was waiting for my food and they knew we were together. But it was not the norm.

Thank you. My daughter is in college and has a credit card that we pay with her name on it, so that wouldn't be an issue. I don't think she'll upgrade from a multi-day ticket to an AP, just trying to figure out where the break even point would be.

You can also have her use a gift card, if you don't want her to have to put it on the CC (or if anyone else is doing this).

At sitdown restaurants, we simply put the AP in with the credit card, cash and GCs.

One way we have handled this when I have my son who doesn't have an AP, he gives me a gift card and I use it to pay at Counter service restaurants. Or we use Apple Pay.
