Could anyone with an annual pass tell me what the rate is for a standard room 4/23-4/27 at the Grand Californian. I'm thinking that even with a modest savings I'll come out ahead with the deluxe annual pass. I'm also looking at renting a studio villa from the DVC which seems like a good deal if I'm willing to deal with 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper.

Many thanks

I had checked AP rates for August and they were $437 a night before taxes...What do you mean by renting a DVC room from them? I think any studios in the DVC area are rented by the regular reservation number since DVC won't talk to you if yo are not a member (are you?) I have heard if any are available (rare) they go for $850 a night. For the dates you mention at Grand Californian the rates are showing at $356..

Thank you for the info. If I decide to go the AP route just the difference in hotel price would cover the cost of the pass. Any other savings would be a bonus.

There are services where you can buy DVC points from members to secure a vacation club villa. I might give it a try. If they have a studio available for our nights it would be about $260 total a night.

Thanks again.

I am a DVC member. There are no studios available at VGC for any of the nights you want to book. Sorry.

I was going to say that if you were looking for a studio two months before you go, it is extremely rare to get at VGC due to the limited number of studios.
