Hi everyone!
Called today to add DDP to our trip. We're staying at the POLY. It was a bounceback offer that we made quite awhile ago. (March)
We have APs. I wanted to add the DDP to our room without having to buy 1-day tix for everyone. I thought this could be done. Wasn't it started in '08 for passholders?
After a very lengthy call with several "please holds" the lovely cast member helping me said that this could only be done with reservations until 8/2.
We added the dining with the 1 day ticket for everyone. She said to keep checking. Maybe this will be available after 8/3.
I see that AP rates are out for our trip dates. The AP rate is more than the bounceback rate we are paying. Does this have something to do with why we couldn't get the AP DDP? I'm so confused......

By the way, I think AP holders should get the best rates. LOL...not BB or AAA...lol.....

Currently ticketless packages for AP-ers are limited to specific packages. It is not a matter of adding DDP to any booking an AP-er has.

So then it has nothing to do with the date? Or should I keep checking if anything opens for 8/3 onwards? Thanks.

I just checked online for Aug 14 - 26 through the AP holder site and got discount AND DDP no problem!
Try again! or book online.

You can check again. But you will not be able to just add DDP to your bounceback booking. You would have to rebook your reservation as a package, and they must have a package available to sell it to you.

Thank you for the info. I went to the Passholder site. With the same dates as we have the bounceback dining package booked, the passholder dining package is almost 600 more. Could that be right????

I am guessing that the passholder rate for the POLY is higher than we paid for the bounceback and we should just keep the bounceback dining package and use the one day tix again next year when it comes time for pass renewal. This is what we did last year - free dining though...not bounceback.

Please reassure me that I am doing the right thing.

Actually it might very well be that the bounceback is the better deal. I got in on the British Free Dining deal and just wanted to make sure that it was a better deal than the AP + dining deal. I come out on top with the British offer!!! Saves quite a bit.
