AP & DDE ?

I know I'm definatly going back to WDW next Oct, and am planning to go again in Oct 2007. If I were to get an AP, and go late Oct next year, and then early Oct 2007, I wouldn't have to buy a park pass twice. But here's my question. If I were to order my AP before Oct, would it count then, and only be good for 12 months past the purchase date, or the date I first use it? Also, if I get it before I go can I get DDE before I go, or how would I go about ordering it if I wasn't able to use my pass yet. Or could I wait to get the pass until I'm at WDW, and get DDE my first day?

You can order your AP anytime and you will get a voucher which can be activated when you arrive at WDW.

The DDE can be ordered ahead of time (I ordered mine and it took approx 3 weeks to arrive), but you don't want to order it Way ahead of time as it is effective around the time you order it. I think you can call DDE and ask them, based on when you're arriving, when you'd need to order it.
