AP Concierge Discount?

We have a suite booked. If I have a AP, do I get a discount on the concierge rate? There are no AP rates for the hotel on the dates we have booked.

Not sure but if you do not have an AP currently you can still call and ask what the AP rate is and book that if available. You do not need an AP to book, only need to have it by time you check out of your stay.

I called and asked. No there is no AP rate on club level.

Did they offer you any AP rates on anything that's available during your stay? Or did you want that specific room despite the rate? My advice was going to be to call to see what they say is available, but it sounds like maybe nothing.

Yeah. Not a chance at xmas, don't even bother to call. The only way I can think of to get a discount that time of year is to book via cheaptickets or Orbitz and use a coupon code. Downside: pay upfront. Upside: save 10-20% depending on what coupon you can fine.

My understanding, there are discounts on the room portion, but not on the concierge portion.

There may not be AP rates available for your stay. They only have so many of those available at any give time(sometimes none)

We have booked with an AP rate, then added Club/Concierge at check in (not always available, so you would be taking a chance).
