AP Codes are up!

I saw the announcement on the DIS a couple hours ago and booked as fast as possible online.

We got AKL standard $185/night for Oct 30-Nov 4 and also saved about $150 on our CSR reservation for Christmas (we got 2 nights at AP rate). :dance3:

Now the site doesn't even show the Oct-Dec offer anymore :confused3

Has anyone been able to get an AP rate for more than one room? I asked this on the "october code watch" thread but no answer so far. The CM gave me the AP rate for all 3 of my rooms. When I asked she said the new rule isn't being used yet. I am getting nervous now. I asked for hard copies. They can't change the rate from the hard copy at check-in can they?

They only let me book one room with the AP rate since only one of us has an AP.

Does anyone know if the ASMu Family Suites are participating in the AP discounts?

AP is for 366 days of unlimited park admission. Perks are just that, perks.

This is why one should never buy an AP for the discounts.

You said it!
On the phone now ... hoping for something good but not expecting it! I'm still going to WDW and staying on-grounds regardless!

There were no AP rates available at the Poly for our 11/25 - 12/1 trip. Thank goodness I had previously booked the AAA rate back in March. Has anyone else had any luck with AP rates at the Poly?

$118.13 total per night, two nights at POR before checking into VWL. Works for me!

They had some rooms available when I checked for Oct 30 - Nov 4. The rate was $305+tax for GV.

Now I'm starting to panic. We booked 3 rooms and only DH and I have AP's. I did ask and she replied. Does anyone think maybe she didn't know? I did go to the website and the new rate is there for all three rooms. My question is can they change this rate without letting us know?

Two years ago I was able to book two rooms with one pass. Is this something new?

Yes they recently changed the rules. You used to be able to book up to 3 rooms now it's only 1.

Yes it is, just in the last couple of weeks. Now you can only book one room per passholder. So if you need 2 rooms with an AP discount you need to have an adult with an AP in each room. And so on.

I was able to get an AP rate for $355.00 per night LV @ the Poly. Our dates are Dec 8-16th. I saved about $70.00 a night. I'm happy :)

We are staying at the AKL Dec 5-8th, but the only thing they had available at the AP discount was a Standard view and I really wanted a Savannah so I just kept what I had.

OK, so I am told there are no value resorts available for Nov. 21-25 even at rack rate- then I check and see that they are available for Nov.20-25- now what sense does that make it! If it is avail for those dates there have to be rooms open for 21-25th. After being to disney 30plus times I am really starting to not like their new policies and procedures. I guess so much for always telling everyon how great Disney is. They sure aren't proving it any longer.

I'm on hold right now. They are telling me that there has to be a passholder in each room.

Me and my DH both have AP's, and my parents don't so we now we have to move the names on the reservations around too.

The CM said if we has myself & DH on the same room, and my parents in the other room, the parents room revert to rack rate at check-in.

At least we are saving money on the first 3 nights, last night is rack rate.

The person who said they have 3 rooms, I would switch the people around, so you are guarenteed the AP rate for at least 2 of your rooms.

It's that crappy new procedure they've started w/ booking rooms!  Our rooms we had 2 weeks ago were both booked and paid for by my mother, but they wouldn't let both of them be shown in her name. One of them they automatically assigned to my husband! It showed up as 2 reservations for 1 room each rather than 1 reservation for 2 rooms.:confused3

So they CAN change the rate you have in writing? I think Disney had better start training their CM's at CRO on what rules are in effect. I asked this one point blank and she told me I have all three rooms with the same AP rate. That the new rule is not being used yet. I have no idea what to do now. Should I call back and talk to someone else or just not rock the boat and take my chances? :confused3

 I am so glad I check in on the disboards throughout the day and found out they released the AP rates after I called this morning. I was on hold for a bit and got a wonderful CM who was able to post the AP rate to my current AAA reservation. I saved a little over $60.00. I am going for 17 days so the original CM I spoke to months ago when I made the reservation split the reservation into 2 8-night reservations so discounts could be applied to all nights (there seems to be a 14 night limit on all discounts :confused3 ). When I called to do the AP this morning she was only able to get the preferred AP for my first 8-night reservation. But she said "wait..let me see what magic I can do :wizard: " Well, sure enough, she worked her magic and changed my first reservation to 4 nights and the second to 12 nights and was able to keep my preferred view for the entire 16 nights. :woohoo:

Then, the magic continues...I come here to post my discount and read about a $20.00 disney card being given to passholders for certain dates. I call back and get another great CM who checked my reservation and yes, I do qualify for the $20.00 card and she said that also my second reservation does as well. :cool1: So, I saved $60.00 on reservations and got two free $20.00 disney dining cards. (actually, the "cards" get added to the room key when I check in she said)

Where is the info about the $20.00 cards? Thanks!!
