AP Card At Check-in and other ticket q's

I just purchased an annual pass on-line and booked a room at HRH at the AP rate. I have a copy of the email confirmation - will this be sufficient to check in at HRH or do I need to go to the park and pick up the actual AP?

Also, I was going to purchase tickets for DH and DS using the AP discount but I think the prices on undercover tourist are better. Can the tickets purchased from UT be upgraded to add an additional day? We are only staying 2 days but maybe go to the parks for 3 days for Harry Potter. Is the upgrade cost just the difference between the regular 2 day and 3 day ticket price? TIA

You may have to show proof of AP rate...your email confirmation will be fine to show them. If not, stow your luggage (if room not ready) and go to the park and get your AP.

When you return later that night, just show the front desk your AP and have them apply your AP rate.

When we did this, I showed her my receipt and told her we were on our way to the parks to pick up and enjoy our brand new APs

As for the upgrade...it's debateable. A friend could NOT upgrade her Ticketmaster tix to AP...but others have been able to upgrade tickets.

You may want to just call Universal GS and ask them. They would know best.
