Busch Gardens? Sheesh, a half day park...this could get ugly. LOL. We just took friends there on Thursday and we were literally running to the end to get in what we wanted, and we never even made it to Egypt. We busted our can that day, that park is massive! For our new guests (who also had never been to Disney, we took them to EPCOT and did a PolyBeach Fireworks/Monorail/Resorts day. They LOVED Disney, but they were still VERY impressed and had a GREAT time at BG) they were SUPER impressed with Cheetah Hunt, the wife was over the moon for the Iceploration Show (incredible talent and real live animals, which is more than I can say for FOTLK), not to mention my beautiful lovely PERFECT ride SheiKra, crazy Kumba, ridiculous Falcon's Fury, the Lori Landing (lorikeet house, amazing!), tiger enclosure, sky ride, train through the serengeti, the hippos, the meerkats, the lions, we didn't even make it to the gorillas, even we missed a ton of stuff. Sheesh half day describing Busch Gardens and I'm like whhaaa I have the body bugg data to prove it. I think we did about 8-9 miles. I think you may have skipped a ton of stuff. That is a park you could do several days in. Biggest down side is when choosing Tampa or Orlando side, we ended up closer to Disney, which means its an hr drive to Busch Gardens. Its still so worth it. We go anytime we can.
I'm literally I think about the biggest Disney fan that *I* personally know. But there is no denying that BG/SW have a serious edge for thrill rides and amazing animal encounters. AK is alright, but THAT is what I call a half day park. (Safari, Dino, Everest, Kali if you brave the long lines for a quick splash, and major construction walls literally in every direction....)
