With the new AP bring a friend (park hoppers same day tickets for 89$), is there a way to make FP selections?
I think the same promotion applied last year; what was your experience?

As soon as the ticket is purchased and linked to MDX, FPs can be booked.

If you have any extra tickets or AP vouchers, those can be linked to the “friend” to pre-book FPs and then reassigned after the “friend” ticket is linked.

An old MYW ticket or a new, Flexible ticket would work along with an AP voucher.

Has anyone had success having a cast member match the FP reservations of the APassholder with the friend?

I waited on hold for an hour, only to be told that FP can only be booked with the friend ticket day of... even with a Disney Resort Hotel booking.
The only advice she gave was to ask day of to be added to the passholders FP selections. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Awesome! Planning a short trip to let the kid do the Halo Discovery thing at the Convention Center and now I can add a day or two of Disney for him as well. Only issue is I don't have an AP card. They never send it with the band or purchase anymore and I have yet to make it by Guest Relations. Wonder if they could issue me one at the same time I purchase this ticket for him. Anyone know? Same location?

The Ticket CM can access your AP info from your MB link to your MDX account. You can ask for an AP Card at that time.

So just an update: we were able to buy the ticket at the window the morning of. The process was quick and easy. We had made FPs on a flexible date ticket and were able to use those.
It was really nice to be able to park hop especially for such a good price!
