AP Best Guest Rates released for Christmas week

I tried the Best Rate today for Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 and found that there was no availability anywhere for those dates even though the instructions at the top say that the program is now available for any arrival until 2/18. Then when I put in Dec. 25, I got availability. So what is up with that?

I keep getting the same results for 12/26 through 1/2 as you, even though it says you can book up until 02/15/06 I spoke with one CM a couple weeks ago who said 12/26 through 1/2 is blacked out. The AP site doesn't say that anywhere.

I can not booked past Jan either. I even tried clicking check in on Jan 1st just to see, but I can not get past that point. I would love to see what the rates are for mid Jan...

Amanda, I looked up mid-January and was able to get rates. I don't know what you're going or where you'd stay so I'll just give you a range of what I found.

I put in January 10-15 since I figured that's near the middle of the month and the prices are total for 5 nights w/ tax included.
ASMo std. view - $333.35
CBR std. view - $551.95
AKL std. view - $752.65, savannah - $1198.65
BWI std. view - $1310.15

For the values and moderates all were available at that rate, but I didn't check every deluxe, just the ones I listed, since I didn't know where you were interested in staying. Hopefully this will help you and maybe you can login and try your dates again and it will work!

last night they showed all of the values at $66 for 12/30 & 31st. Now they are saying that there is nothing at any of the resorts..not just values. I think they realized there was a glitch in their program. I was just looking to see what they were showing... my daugher says "oh mom, you should have booked"... only because she is going to the Buc's game on 1/1 & it is easier to get to Tampa from Disney than our house ...now this would be a trip I can book that far out. They are off of school, I know my DH couldn't come (they cannot get time off that week) I am off of work, no soccer, etc.... I probably should have booked. Just to be there for NYE & a shorter drive for the game on the 1st...oh well...live and learn. Maybe tomorrow there will be something... as I still wait for 12/1-4th

I checked your dates, well actually I could only check December 20-23 because 12/19 is 119 days from now and you have to book 120 in advance. The rate for garden view at the GF for the 20-23 is $933.27 ($311.09/night w/ tax inc.) and for lagoon view it's $1137.30 ($379.10/night w/ tax inc.). They also have lodge tower room and lodge concierge for $67 and $167 more than lagoon view for the 3 nights (total for the 3 nights, that's not a per night increase).

My suggestion would be that if you want to take advantage of these rates for 3 of your 4 nights then I would call and order an AP now and ask for the voucher number. If the CM doesn't think they can give it to you (ours didn't think she knew it at first), ask them to check with a manager and they should know what to do. Then you can log into the site and book your room.

could you check AP best rate -- Jan 5-9 at BWI & YC --both concierge level and also CR tower . I really appreciate it..trying to decide if it will be worth it for us to get APs this year.

I looked up your dates (1/2-1/8) with the Best Rate at WL and standard view is $903.18 for all 6 nights, so $135/night ($150.53 w/tax).

BWI concierge-$1627.92 total, so $365/night, or $406.98/night w/ tax (deluxe concierge is $468 more total)

YC concierge wasn't showing any availability, but BC lagoon view concierge is $1917.80, $430/night, or $479.45 w/tax

CR Tower Concierge-$1761.72, $395/night, $440.43/night w/tax

We just booked the Poly GV 12/25-12/30!!!!! 260.92/night!!!!!

It's going to be a total surprise for the kids...we'll get up in the morning and have xmas and then head to the airport in the afternoon!!! What a christmas gift!

For Madison everything is still a surprise since she'll be 22 months on the trip, but we're getting up early, doing Christmas, then heading out to the airport too! We arrive in Disney around 5:30 or 6pm. Are you guys requesting a certain longhouse?

So this AP Best Guest Rates can only be booked online and you have to use the AP holder website...and then put your voucher or your confirmation in. Is that correct? I really want to take my parents to WDW as their Christmas present. My father has never been to Disney and my mother only once. I am just wondering if any one would kindly please check to see if Dec 27- Jan 2 is available at BC std view and what the rate is. Thank you so much. I just wanted to know if it's worth it for me to go ahead and get the voucher. TIA!

We weren't all that thrilled about travelling on Christmas Day either, but the savings in our room more than paid for the AP. We had planned to get APs anyway since we'll probably be going back in early May for a couple of days, but didn't plan on buying one last week. Once we saw that we were paying over 50% less than what we would be paying we decided to buy the AP and change our booking. We initially had CR Tower, but that wasn't available with the AP rate so we switched to the Poly. We're paying $260/night now, as opposed to about $550/night before switching to the AP rate.

BTW, the AP cost us $420 (we didn't get the one with waterparks, just the 4 parks), so we made up that price in less than 2 nights.

Justhat...I didn't request a specific longhouse when I booked last night but I do want to request Tokelau 1st or 3rd floor. It was fabulous when we went there last Sept. Last Dec. when we stayed there we were in the building that starts with an A (sorry can't say it much less spell it..ha!) and didn't care for the location. We were on the first floor toward the marina and when we would sit out on our patio everyone walking to the luau would stare at you. Maybe we can meet at the pool or something. Last year it was freezing when we went in December so I'm hoping that it will at least be warm enough to swim but not super hot.

Hi all,
Our family of five has reservations at the Swan for Dec 29, 30, and 31st. The rate at theSwan is still very high and I am now second guessing if I should have booked 2 rooms at a value. Since I don't have a voucher yet I can't get into the passholder site. Could someone check AS Sports for those nights and see if they show availability and price? By the way, what is the proper abbreviation for All Star Sports? Is that really the abbreviation thats used? thank you!
