The Power Pass will work for room discounts. At least it did for our travel buddies. They were able to book at the APH rate at the RPR with a Power Pass. Their check-in person didn't even blink an eye.
You just won't get any of the other benefits -- I think the room discount is about the only one you can get away with.
I've got a room at HRH, too, using Entertainment Card rates without having the card. I have checked into RPR and PBH and they didn't ask to see my AP. And I've never had them look at the AP card to see if it was expired but the 1st time I'd try to trick them I'd get busted and have to pay rack rate. But the PAP is the card that is supposed to get the discounts.
