My wife and I will be "official" AP holders on November 5th when we activate our passes. As I've read the AP now comes with Disney Photopass.

My question is.........What is the difference between Photopass and Memory Maker?

Thank you in advance for the clarifications :)

There is no difference from what I can tell. As an AP holder I have gotten all our ride shots, in park photos, and magical shots. You have to pay extra if you want a CD or anything like that. It weirdly activates all your old photos as well so if you've taken a trip in the last year you'll see those come back and you can download them too.

memory maker is a 1 price package deal to get all your photopasses with a 30 day download window (digital downloads). the photopass perk is to get all your photopasses for the entire year with no additional fee (digital downloads). there is also other memory maker options for some of the pictures but for this comparison, look at it that way.

Ap holders photos also don't expire in 45 days, they expire in 365 days (unclear if they expire on your renewal date but so far doesn't appear that way) but your downloads are only free while your ap is valid

Cool! :D

How long the photos stay in your account is the only difference. I'll warn you, if you visit a lot it is actually a PITA that they stay for a year. We've gone 11 times in the past year, 3 trips were long 10 day trips, others short with just DH and I. We have so many photos in Photopass it's about useless. I was trying to look at a picture from DH and I's trip last weekend and it took ages to load and I never could get an edit to save. I can't tell you how much you'll wish for a way to filter photos online. You can on the app, but can't make edits there

I agree. We just started deleting photos after we download them to keep it down.

I can't even stay logged in long enough to look at them at this point I'm not sure if I should call. I assume mine are going to expire with my renewal date next month I have renewed but won't be in park till a month later.

As long as the pictures aren't more than a year old they will come back. I had a 6 month gap in my AP, once I repurchased it all of my photos came back - even pictures from late 2015.
