My mind seems to be drawing a blank but do Deluxe AP holders have access to MM/EE? I am thinking not but wanted to make sure. We will be staying offsite *gasp* and I am trying to plan our park days to avoid the parks with MM/EE if we don't have access.

For those of you with APs and no access to MM/EE, how do you tour? We live in Utah and have 4 trips planned this year. Two offsite, one a mix of both, and one onsite.

I also keep forgetting we can park hop. We have turned into non park hopping people. This next trip should be interesting. LOL!

:thanks:

I have a deluxe, and you only get early entry if you're staying onsite. When I stayed offsite, I just planned to start in the park that didn't host EE that day.

That's the exact same thing I was going to say. Get there as soon as the gate opens and enjoy the early mornings. Even though you can't get in early, it's still the best way to get in lots of rides in that first couple of hours, before the park gets really busy. Enjoy your trips! :)

I go to DL on EE days and head to Adventureland and NOS first. Most people with EE don't drop what they're doing in TL and FL right at park opening, so there's really no disadvantage. Even TL isn't that bad when the park opens, since 2 rides have FP, it seems most people using EE do FL first.

That's what I was thinking, thank you. We generally avoid the park with EE if we can't partake. Sometimes we avoid even if we can for that extra hour of sleep. ;)

True; good point. I am trying to think of the last time we did an EE/MM and what the crowds looked like. We'll enjoy; thank you!

Peter Pan will be closed so I wonder if that will impact the folks that do FL during EE/MM?

I appreciate the insights everyone. This is the first year in almost a decade we have had APs. We are also plum out of DVC points until Dec 1st so this is about the first time in 5+ years, we'll be staying offsite. Its like a whole new world. :lmao:

Yes, I found this out the hard way, but you only get EE if you stay onsite. It's not bad though. Even if you go to the park that has EE that day first, the crowds tend to be in FL for DL and Carsland for DCA. So, if you go to the other areas it's not bad at all.

Cool! Good points. We generally hit Adventureland and NOS first in Disneyland anyway. In DCA we do go for Carsland but also the PP area with TSMM and Screamin'.

And it looks like all of your kids are old enough for single rider, so you don't have to rush to RSR or Indy. You have the option to get FP for something else first, then go back later and not be forced into a potentially long standby line.

Yes, they are old enough. We haven't done Single Rider for Indy but have for RSR.
