AP and FP+ question

When the new FP+ gets here, from what I have read, you have to have your tickets ahead of time--and attached to your reservation--- to reserve your fastpasses. Does that mean that if you wait to buy your tickets at Disney, you will only be able to use the FP+ after you get there and not 60 days out? Am I reading that all wrong? Also, I'm assuming that if you buy tickets from Undercover Tourist, you will still be able to attach them onto your MDE.

Like this year, we bought AP's and received the vouchers and will get the actual tickets when we get down there. Hypothetically speaking (because it will be too soon for it to be up and running), if they had the system up, would we be out of luck on using it? It will be too soon for it to be a problem this time around but could be at some point. Our plan is to buy an AP every other year and that will let us go every summer plus some extra times when it is the year that we purchase the tickets. So there will be some years that we will not have the ticket in hand until we actually get there. We don't normally buy an AP before we get there. We did this year because we caught it right before the price increase and knew it would save us a good bit of money. Hmmmm... wonder if we could attach the number of the voucher and that would let us reserve the fastpasses. What do ya'll think?

I've been wondering this too. We buy AP's every other year near the end of August. Then we can go the following August, but earlier, and use the same AP. Sometimes we go for a shorter time in between. I bought our AP's in June, but I won't activate them until August when we arrive. I don't know how this will work with FP+. Maybe we'll be able to use the WC number? I'm curious to know. Yesterday, I entered the WC # into MDE for our AP's that won't be activated until the end of June. They appeared for a while yesterday, but showed that they will expire 7/14/2014, which isn't right because they're not even activated yet. Today they don't appear at all. I think there are still a lot of scenarios to be worked out with this.

We get our AP's as a gift from Disney this year because we're having a Disney wedding (one of the perks) we know we're going to use them during our wedding stay, and the whole FT+ thing is freaking me out. We'll be there for 10 days, if we can only have the rumored 20 a quarter and we can't pick any major rides ahead of time (assuming FT+ is live by November) we'll pretty much be s.o.l. :( figuring this out will not be a fun time.
