I called Disney today to check availability and prices for a quick trip in January. I asked the CS rep to check to see if I had a pin code (didn't :sad1: ) and he mentioned that there were no AP rates out "yet." I said, "Do you expect AP and Florida resident rates to come out soon?" and he said, "yes, very soon! Probably within the next week or two. We had a staff meeting yesterday and they hinted very strongly that they were coming soon." :cool1:

So, I didn't book today, but will stayed glued to the DIS and disneyworld.com so I can make reservations ASAP! :surfweb:

Nice to know - I talked with an online CRO @ WDW & they said nothing was up yet for AP or Florida Residents. I want to go in January, too & really, really, really want to stay @ a Deluxe just once in this lifetime........LOL....so I was hoping for a good AP or FL Res. rate. Otherwise maybe I can talk DH into a Mod.

We're going for an adults-only trip for our anniversary, and I'd LOVE to stay at Wilderness Lodge. I checked AAA rates and it's still almost $200/night. But if the AAA or Florida resident rate is a 30-40% cut off regular price ($250), I'll be reallllly tempted. Otherwise, I want to try French Quarter. We've stayed at CSR two other times and will be there again in Sept.

I checked the AP/FL resident historical codes on a website and in the last several years, they've started on 1/1. The Disney calendar shows that Value season begins on 1/1, so I'm hoping the discounts will start that day, too. We're going 1/4-1/7 so I really hope they are in effect by then!

would you mind telling me where I can see the historical AP discounts? Thanks in advance!
