Hello,

A question for the AP holders who stay on site: I know there is a discount for the Disneyland hotels, but what is the booking policy? If I try to book just a room through the website (disneyland.com), I have to pay in full for the room - but if I book a package I can make payments. Do you book differently with an AP, directly with the hotel? If so, do you know the policy - pay all in advance, pay the first night, whichever?

Thanks!

For the AP rates you do have to call them.

They used to be really easy about reservations (room only) but now they've tightened up, with longer cancelation times and a hefty deposit being charged (one night's stay, I believe).

But with a package, you don't get an AP discount (the package IS the discount) and you have to buy tickets, so if you already have that AP it doesn't make much sense.
