AP activation clarification needed

:wave2: Hi everyone...am in need of assistance :)

We recently purchased APs for the room discount and TIW card, however, have other tickets we need to use for entrance into the theme parks and as a result, have not linked the APs into our MDE account :crazy2:

Is it true, our APs will not be officially activated {i.e. AP expiration clock start ticking} until we use the APs to enter a theme park? even though we will use the APs to purchase and use TIW card? :confused3

You have to go to a guest services booth to activate the AP and purchase the TIW. The clock will start when it's activated. I don't think you can purchase a TIW without activating the AP.

We have an AP and had other fix (AF Salute) that we were using last weekend. We purchased our TIW at GS in MK without activating our APs. Just explain to them what you want to do and they will gladly accommodate your needs.

Your AP will not officially be active until you use it to go into the park. Best choice, do not link to your MDE until you are ready to activate. If you do link prior to usage and have other tix as well, then you can call tech support at 407-939-7849 and have them prioritize your regular tickets over your AP.
