AOL 9.0 with dial-up

I posted this on another thread but thought it was worth starting a new topic. Hopefully it can help a few people.

I don't know how 9.0 works with broadband but it stinks with dial-up!! I recently went back to 8.0 Plus and have been amazed at the difference. I haven't been booted off once since switching back. I do miss the spam filter but I'll take the trade-off of being able to stay online without interruption.

I've been using AOL 9.0 for dial-up the past two weeks, and haven't had any problems with it. Occassionally, there may be an interuption in service, but AOL signs me right back on in seconds.

Of course, I'm also using a brand new computer, so that probably has something to do with it as well.
