I read a lot of complaints about the distance from the bus stops and food court to the LM rooms. We didn't think it was a bad walk at all. Unless you have mobility issues, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in a LM room. If you have small kids, do bring a stroller. Carrying a child would make for a very long walk. My son was 11 months old at the time I stayed and carrying him that far would have been too much.
I have no mobility issues and don't have small kids. But we won't stay there again. The rooms and the resort are stunning. But we do long park days and rely on resort buses. That walk after a long day on your feet is brutal.
And it changes the way we enjoy the resort. We don't run down and get snacks. We don't run back and refill our mugs.
For me, it's just too far.
We stayed in a LM room in the closest building which is still a ten minute walk to the lobby/food court/bus stop. It was a short adult trip so doable and the walk is pretty, I'm reasonably sure I wouldn't feel the same way hauling strollers, little kids, etc. We made sure that when we left the room for the morning, we were packed and ready to go to the parks. One thing you don't want to do is to go back and forth to the room!
I feel the same way! I'm a fit adult with no kids and it was just TOO far. By the end of our trip, we were actually driving to the bus stop/main building.
But the LM rooms aren't all that close to the bridge. The Nemo suites back up to the bridge. Once you cross the bridge, it's a fair distance to the buses.Yes seriously.
When you are as close to the pathway that leads around the lake as I was it is LITERALLY a shorter walk to POP's buses than AOA's buses.
I was not being sarcastic or exaggerating in any way.
BTW I was traveling with all adults.

I've stayed in a LM room, facing the lake. And I've walked around that area. I've stayed at Pop, in a building quite close to the bridge. Many others complained about the walk to the food court and buses from the back of 60's section.
I just don't want anyone booking a LM room, thinking its a 5 min walk over to the buses at Pop.
