AofA family suites

Has anyone stayed in Cars family suite at AofA? Was wondering if the pull down bed would comfortably fit a 9 and 12 year old boy. Hard to tell from pics

I've stayed in a family suite in Nemo - same bed. It's a double so yes it would fit 2 boys. My husband and I can sleep in a double (we do so at Pop). I don't know your boys definition of comfortable, but at that age I wouldn't have minded.

My friend and her husband slept on the pull down bed for 1 night, no complaints that I heard.

Another thing you can consider in a Cars suite, is to bring along a fitted sheet (or ask for another from mousekeeping?) and use the cushion from the couch as a third bed on the floor for a small-ish child. My 8yo ds slept on that last year and thought it was fine. He preferred that to sharing a bed with his brother.

Thanks for the input, i was a little nervous because in the pics it looked kinda small. And the fitted sheet on the couch cushion sounds like a good idea as well

My 14 and 11 year old nieces shared the pull down bed in April. They complained about how noisy it was in the hallway, but not about sharing the bed.

We stayed in a Nemo Suite last month and our (tall) 11 and 9 year old girls slept in the pull down just fine.

Both the pull out couch and pull down Murphy bed were very comfortable. Great idea on the couch cushion too!

Thanks for this tip! As a family of six I think AoA is where we are headed when our youngest turns three and I'm going to pack an extra sheet for this! Just in case a quarrel occurs over bed sharing!!

It works best to flip the cushion and sleep on the underside of it, if that makes sense.

Thanks for this info! I'll be sleeping on the pullout couch when we go in Dec and I was hoping it would be tolerable. Sometimes pullout sofas work, and sometimes they are miserable....

We stayed in a Cars suite, and my boys (10 and 13 at the time) said both the murphy bed and the pullout couch bed were comfy. Had we needed them to share a bed, they would have both been able to fit in either bed. We LOVED the AoA Cars suite...it was amazing to have all the space, two bathrooms, and the wonderful theming. Enjoy your trip!!
