AoA to AKL

Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for the quickest route (no car) from AoA to Boma at AKL for a 830 breakfast? Disney bus or taxi?

I'd take a taxi. Otherwise you are looking at multiple bus transfers. Time is $$$ at Disney and that's one trek that would've greatly shortened by taxi.

Couldn't agree more! Taxi will save you tons of time. If you take a WDW bus, I would allow at least an hour and half to make all of the transfers.

Depending on what time you leave, you may be able to get a bus driver to take you straight there...or at least to AKL and then take a shuttle/van to Boma. We had a 7:30a Cape May and when we got on the bus to DHS, the driver said because there was no one else on the bus that he could take us straight to Cape May. It was very nice of him. I'd also heard of this happening from others prior to our trip, as well.

We didn't realize that Boma wasn't at AKL (wherever the bus takes you), we were already at AK for the day and needed to get to Boma for dinner. We took the bus to AKL - then found out we were not at the right place, and ended up taking a shuttle/van to Boma. So add on the additional bus ride to AK from AoA to transfer to AKL.

Depending on what time you leave, you may be able to get a bus driver to take you straight there...or at least to AKL and then take a shuttle/van to Boma. We had a 7:30a Cape May and when we got on the bus to DHS, the driver said because there was no one else on the bus that he could take us straight to Cape May. It was very nice of him. I would in no way count on the bus driver taking you exactly to AKL. Also Boma IS at AKL! Perhaps what happened to you was you got off at the DVC building, Kidani Village. Boma is in Jambo House which is the original AKL.

Get on the bus for AK then at AK get on a bus for AKL and it is the second stop there, first is Kidani and then the main lodge. That's if you want to travel by bus.

According to the post after yours, we got off on the first stop - no one advised us differently, or asked where we were heading, or gave any indication that there were additional stops. We got on the AKL bus from AK, and assumed it would take us to the correct place. In fact, I believe everyone on the bus we were on got off at that first stop. I know one other family was also "lost" at the first stop trying to get to Boma. Disney (or AK, or a bus driver, someone?) should make things more clear for those who have never been!! Either way, we left plenty of time and still made it early to our ADR, even with all the confusion!

No worries! No offense taken! I was just explaining the crazy way we ended up there hopefully others won't make the same mistake as us and that other poor family!
