AoA question - how will I book this??

Due to my husband's work, we'll be headed down to WDW before he will, and I'm a bit confused as to how I'll book our package.

February 6-15 - AoA LM room. 10 day base tickets. DxDDP (hopefully free dining will be offered and we'll pay the upgrade price only). February 6-9 will be just my mom, myself, and 2 kids and we'll add in the hubby on the 10th-15th and will also need another room.

So - here's the only thing I can think of... Book for Feb 6-15th in one room and list all 3 adults and both kids - pay for tickets for all and dining for everyone under that one room (even though DH won't arrive til the 10th). Then book a room only reservation on the 10-15th so we'll have 2 rooms, but let DH technically have the tickets/dining package on the original reservation??

In order for everyone to have tickets + dining plan for all 10 days and hubby for only the 10-15th, this is all I can think of to do.... My brain is fried though, is this my only option??

Since I think you will need two separate reservations (since you only need the second room for the last leg of the trip), it may be cheaper for you to book your DH's package (tix and DxDDP) on the second room. Otherwise, you will have alot of dining credits and park tix you may not need. Just my thought...try pricing it out. Good luck!

I agree with the PP, I would book your husbands tickets and dining on the second room for the second part of the trip. I would not want to pay for the dining if he is not there.

The PPs have it right. Book the 2nd room + dining + ticket under your DHs name for the exact dates he will be there. Make sure you link the 2 reservations and ask for adjoining or connecting rooms. Then when he arrives your mom can move into the other room. This will require your DH and DM to go to the front desk and have the keys fixed so that they can get into their new rooms (ie: so DH's key will get him into your room and DMs key will get her into her new room).
