AoA or POP? Help me decide!

I will be going to WDW with the BF in April and the question is - should we stay at AoA or POP? Here are my pro's and con's:

AoA - The fact that it's brand new excites me... it should be nice and clean and bright (seeing how the original All Stars seem a little faded now) and it would be cool to be on the cutting edge. Since it's the two of us, obviously we'd just stay in a standard Little Mermaid room. Not a problem for me (just look at my user name!) I've idolized Ariel since I was 5 when the movie came out. However, I worry about BF being in girlie princess overload. From pictures I've seen, AoA seems REALLY themey - like can't get away from it, even more so than the All Stars or POP. So, for those who have stayed there (and I know the LM rooms aren't open yet, but for the other sections) - is it over the top?

POP - I stayed there in 2005 when it was relatively new. BF has never stayed there but I think he'll definitely like it. So my question here is, how has POP changed in the past 7 years? Is it losing some of its charm/quality or is it still awesome?

I need opinions! What do you think I should go with? Thanks!

As far as the theme I get what you're saying. I'm slightly concerned that we're staying in a LM room and I have a six year old DS, but I looked at the pics, and I think he won't mind. Also, the rest of the resort looks just too cool! I had the same issue as you because I stayed at POP when it was relatively new and I absolutely loved it. It was hard for me to choose. In the end, I went with AoA just to try something new, and because I love that it's so "Disney." Good luck with your decision! Wherever you stay will be wonderful I'm sure!
