Hello,
We are headed to WDW for 7d/6n in June of this year. We are already booked at AoA in a LM room, but we are now considering splitting the stay with 3 nights at A0A and 3 nights at WL. I've always wanted to stay there and plus we were planning on having a "date night" and could use the kids club there.

My only concern is the time it would take to switch resorts. We have 2 elementary age kids and I want them to get "park time". We already have fireworks cruise and pirate experience booked (presents from MIL).

Thoughts?

During a split stay we drop off our bags with bell services at resort #1 and head to rope drop at a park. We stay as long as we want then head to resort #2, check in and have bell services deliver our bags to our room. No park time lost.

I agree, just check out, leave your luggage, head to Park, return to new Resort, call down for your Luggage. No time will be lost
I highly Recomend a stay at the WL, it's Wonderful :)

We have done split stays several times and there is no appreciable lost park time. If you are planning on using the pool while your bags are in transit, cary your bathing suits with you. Once you check your bags at the first resort, they probably won't be available until around 4:00 or so at the second resort. One time we packed up and grabbed a cab at our resort #1 (taking our luggage with us). We went to resort #2, checked in, left our bags with bell services there and then went off to the parks. Both ways were easy, but I think I liked knowing we had access to our luggage, if need be, when we we left them at resort #2.

I agree with pps. I would go for WL! It is an amazing resort and the location and deluxe prince cannot be beaten! :goodvibes
